CLAT PG 2026 Result Date

The CLAT PG 2026 result will also be released on 13 December, along with the CLAT UG results. Postgraduate law aspirants can access their results online through the official portal. After the results, eligible candidates can proceed with the next stages of the admission process for LLM and other postgraduate law courses at participating NLUs.

Step 2: Tap on the CLAT 2026 Result option given on the main page of the website or in the notifications section.

Step 3: Sign in using registered credentials.

Step 4: After logging in, results will be shown on the screen.

Step 5: At last, download and save the CLAT scorecard for the counselling process.

Additionally, candidates must note that all official communication and results will be done through the Consortium’s website. They will not get the hard copies of their results dispatched.

In the case when two or more candidates secure the same scores in the CLAT 2026 Exam, the Consortium of NLUs will apply the following tie-breaking rules to determine their ranks:

For CLAT UG 2026

• Candidates with higher scores in the Legal Aptitude section receive first preference.

• If the Legal Aptitude marks are also the same, the older candidate is ranked higher.

• In cases where both the Legal Aptitude scores and age are the same, a computerized random draw will determine the rank.

For CLAT PG 2026

• Preference is given to the older candidate in the event of tied scores.

• If the age is also the same, a computerized draw of lots decides the final rank.

What’s After CLAT Results?

After the CLAT 2026 results are announced, the eligible candidates will participate in the centralised counselling process. All the qualified candidates must register online for counseling through the official Consortium of NLUs website. During counseling, candidates will fill in their preferences for NLUs and law programs. Based on their All India Rank (AIR), category, and choices filled, seats will be allotted in multiple rounds. Candidates who receive an allotment must complete document verification and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
