Hidayatullah National Law University Raipur, offers BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programs in various legal specialisations, including Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, and International Law. BA LLB (Hons) requires completion of Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) and a qualifying score in CLAT UG examination.
LLM students need to clear an LLB degree or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories, along with a valid CLAT PG score.
Candidates who are taking their final examination in March/ April 2026 can also apply, but they need to submit the proof at the time of admission.
Students for a PhD in Law must have a Master's degree in Law with a 55% required percentage, 5% relaxation for reserved categories.

Hidayatullah National Law University Raipur offers the Vice Chancellor Means Cum Merit Scholarship. The scholarship is designed to support students from financially weak backgrounds and students who have good academic performance.
The university gives scholarships to 24 undergraduate students starting from the third semester. It also provides scholarships to 6 postgraduate students in their second semester.
Students must have a 5.00 GPA in the last semester, and the family income should be less than INR 8,00,000 per year. Students need to have proper attendance. BA.LLB students need BCI mandate attendance. LL.M. students need 75% attendance. Students must not break any university rules.
The scholarship gives up to 50% of the tuition fee for one semester. Students must apply again every semester. Students who get full scholarships from other places cannot take this scholarship.
