IIM Tiruchirappalli, or IIM Trichy, is the 11th IIM and has been ranked 16th among management institutes according to the official NIRF 2025 rankings. In the NIRF 2024 Management Rankings, IIM Tiruchirappalli secured the 27th position. Its campus is spread across 175 acres in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM Tiruchirappalli) was established by the Honāble Minister for HRD and Telecommunication, Shri Kapil Sibal, by laying the foundation stone on January 4, 2011. The institute currently functions from a fully renovated old library building located in the NIT Tiruchirappalli premises.
