Indian Institute of Management Raipur has been established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The first batch of IIM Raipur was inaugurated by Dr. Raman Singh, the honorable Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, on 11th October 2010 at Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.

Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur) was initially located on the campus of the Government Engineering College, Sejbahar, in 2010. Presently, IIM Raipur is situated in Atal Nagar. The college shifted to its new campus in 2018 and is now spread across 200 acres of land. The campus is equipped with designed classrooms, sports facilities, a mess room, a library, and a gymnasium. IIM Raipur admission in the MBA is conducted in three stages consist of online registration after declaring the CAT results, shortlisting of candidates for the GD and PI, and selection of candidates based on the final composite score under each category.
Completion of a graduation degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (Gen, EWS, NC-OBC) and 50% for Scheduled Castes and 45% for Scheduled Tribes and Persons with Disabilities.
Candidates without a graduation degree but who have completed CA/CMA (ICWA)/CS must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in CA/CMA (ICWA)/CS.
For IIM Raipur ePGP (Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management)
Applicants must be at least 25 years old as of November 30, 2024, and should have a minimum of three years of managerial, entrepreneurial, or professional experience after completing their qualifying degree.
They should also hold at least a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (Gen, EWS, NC-OBC) and 40% marks (SC, ST, PwD) in their graduation.
Candidates are required to attend a personal interview, during which they will be assessed on five aspects.
The final selection will be based on a composite score, calculated from two components: the personal interview, which carries a weight of 50%, and the candidate’s overall profile, which also contributes 50% to the final score.
For IIM Raipur eHRM (Executive Post Graduate Program in Human Resource Management)
For Indian applicants, a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university (approved by UGC, AICTE, DEC, AIU, or State Government) in any discipline is required, with at least 50% marks overall.
For international applicants, a graduation degree from a recognised university in their home country is needed, with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent GPA.
All candidates must have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience in a professional, managerial, or entrepreneurial role as of January 31, 2024.
They must also be at least 25 years old as of the same date.

A four-year or eight-semester bachelor’s degree in engineering (such as B.E., B.Tech, or B.Arch) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5.
A five-year integrated Master’s degree in any discipline, completed after class 12th, with at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
