With varying eligibility requirements, the university offers admission to a variety of courses, including integrated undergraduate programs in BBALLB and BALLB, postgraduate programs in LLM and MBA in Insurance and Risk Management. In addition to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs, the university provides a Diploma in insurance risk management, a number of Certificate programs, and PhD programs in numerous specialisations.
A national entrance exam, such as CLAT or UGC-NET JRF, is required to be eligible for some degrees, including BALLB, LLM, and PhD. Admission to other courses is determined on merit, or how well students performed on their most recent academic tests. Students who are not eligible for UGC-NET must take an admission exam administered by the university and then go through an interview. To apply for admission before the deadline, students must pay an application fee. The application fee is INR 2,500 for the PhD program and INR 1,000 for the MBA and Diploma in Insurance Risk Management programs.

Depending on the program level, National Law University Jodhpur, Rajasthan, has varying qualifying requirements for each course. Students must fulfil the academic requirements of the course, and the specific eligibility criteria for different programs are given below:
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised university with at least 50% of the marks in order to be admitted to an MBA program. Applicants may apply if they are taking the final test for their bachelor's degree. Along with the Migration Certificate, marksheets from the previous university and the original final exam sheet with the minimum scores listed above under eligibility, must be submitted.
Students must have a valid CLAT exam score and a Class 12 grade of 45% (or 40% for SC and ST candidates) in order to be admitted to the BBALLB program.
Applicants who wish to enrol in a PhD program in Management must have completed the university's entrance exam or the UGC NET JRF. A bachelor's degree with 55% from a recognised university is also required (50% for the reserved category). Candidates who are in their final year of a bachelor's degree may also apply by submitting their migration certificate and their previous year's exam results.
For admission to the Diploma in Insurance Risk Management, a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution is required, with at least 50% marks or at least 50% in Class 10 and 12 grades. Candidates preparing for their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) final exam can also apply. They have to submit the result reports from the prior academic year. If they present the original final exam marksheet with the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned above, along with the Migration Certificate from the prior school, they will be given provisional admission upon selection.
