IIT Dharwad Admission 2026
Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, a reputed IIT in Karnataka, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in engineering, science, and interdisciplinary fields, including B.Tech, BS-MS, M.Sc, M.Tech, and PhD courses.
Admission to the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad is entrance-based and conducted through national-level exams followed by counselling. For the bachelor’s degree courses, candidates must qualify for JEE Advanced followed by participation in JoSAA Counselling. IIT Dharwad Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
For admission to IIT Dharwad, candidates are required to appear for the JEE Main and Advanced exams for the UG courses, along with a minimum passing score of 75% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the core subjects.
For admission to the Postgraduate level courses, applicants must hold a qualifying score of 60% (without rounding off) in a bachelor’s degree with a relevant subject. Additionally, students are required to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam.
Moreover, for admission to the PhD program, applicants are invited for a walk-in interview at IIT Dharwad based on CSIR-JRF scores or rank.
