Admission to various PG and PhD courses is open. The application process for these two programs started on 22 March 2025, and the last date of application was 14 April 2025.
Candidates applying for UG courses must have passed Class 12th in PCM with a minimum required score. While PG candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline. Candidates must pay INR 2000 as the application fee irrespective of the course.

IIT Delhi Admission Eligibility 2025
IIT Delhi offers a variety of courses, such as BTech, MTech, BDes, MBA, etc., in different disciplines at the UG and PG levels. Admission to all these courses is merit and entrance-based. Candidates pursuing PG, who already have a UG degree from any IIT, are eligible for admission without any entrance examination.
To become eligible for UG admissions, students must have cleared Class 12 from a recognised board.
Candidates who want to pursue BTech must have appeared and qualified JEE Main and Advanced exams.
Candidates applying for BDes must have cleared the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED).
PG candidates must have cleared prescribed entrance examinations along with a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with an aggregate of at least 55% or 5.5 CGPA.
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for MTech.

Merit Cum Means Scholarships UG/PG: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers Merit cum Means based scholarship to UG and PG students in MSc. 25% of students receive MCM whose family income is up to 4,50,000 per annum. The current scholarship amount for General/ OBC and EWS categories is INR 1000 per month, and the recipient is exempted from paying tuition fees.
Merit Prize and Certificate: Top 7% students of each 4-year BTech and 5-year Dual Degree receive INR 2,500 per semester.
MTech, MS(R), MDes and PhD Programmes: Financial assistance is provided to students of these courses as per Government of India guidelines.
*Note: Students must maintain 6 CGPA/SGPA for the renewal of MCM scholarship. All students from the SC, ST, and PwD categories are exempted from paying the tuition fee, irrespective of their family income.
