Entrance Exam: Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) conducts Joint Admission Test (JAM) for admission to the Master of Science (M.Sc) Programme.
Eligibility Criteria: For admission to the MSc programme, candidates must have completed 10+2 in any discipline from a state/central board.

For IIT Hyderabad admission to UG programmes, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria which are as follows: the B.Tech student will have to sit for the JEE Advanced whereas for the B.Des Programme, the applicants need to appear for the UCEED entrance exam.
Also, candidates belonging to the EWS, OBC NCL categories must be born not later than October 1 2001 and 5 years of relaxation is given to SC/ST and PwD categories which means students from this category must be born in or after 1996.
On the other hand for both the undergraduate programmes at IIT Hyderabad candidates must have completed their Class 12th with 75% of marks for the unreserved category which is lowered to 65% for SC/ST/PwD.
For the M.Tech degree at IIT Hyderabad candidates must take GATE entrance tests and score a minimum aggregate marks and for an M.Sc. in physics/maths/chemistry, it is compulsory for the students to appear for the IIT JAM entrance exam, which is further followed by a personal interview.
