When will the XAT 2026 exam be conducted, and how can I apply?

The XAT 2026 exam will be held on 4 January 2026. You can apply online through the official website xatonline.in from 10 July 2025 to 11 December 2025.

Who is eligible to appear for XAT 2026?

Anyone who has a Bachelor’s degree or is in the final year of graduation from a recognized university can apply. There is no age limit and no minimum percentage requirement.

What is the exam pattern and marking scheme of XAT 2026?

XAT has 95 multiple-choice questions, divided across sections like Verbal & Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude, GK, and Essay Writing. Each correct answer earns +1, and each wrong answer gets a penalty of -0.25 marks. Unattempting more than 8 questions consecutively may lead to a penalty of -0.10 marks.

How can I download the admit card and check my XAT result?

Candidates can download the admit card from 20 December 2025 by logging into xatonline.in. After the exam, results were released on 16 January 2026, and can be accessed the same way by using your login credentials.
