These are offered to meritorious and candidates belonging to weak financial background based upon certain criteria like family income, academic achievement, etc. The scholarships include both Merit-cum-Means based and Need-based scholarships. 

Merit-cum-Means scholarships are provided to PGP students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. On the other hand, need-based scholarships are for SC/ST candidates offering fee waivers based on family income. It is funded by the Government of India.
