National Level includes CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT or GRE. State Level includes Karnataka PGCET or KMAT (mainly for private colleges in Karnataka). University-specific, like SNAP (for SIBM Bangalore) or NMAT (for NMIMS).

Step 3: Online Application: At this stage, the Candidate must access the official website of the preferred college and adhere to the steps of the application process. The process consists of several stages, such as uploading documents, marksheets, and filling in personal & academic details. At last, pay the application fee, which ranges between INR 1000 and INR 2500.

Step 4: Shortlisting Based on Merit : The college evaluates and shortlists the students on the basis of the composite score, which usually includes the score of the entrance exams, academic performance of the candidate, and work experience (in case of Executive MBA only).

Step 5: Further Selection Rounds : The candidates who clear the initial screening are called for the second evaluation stage, which normally includes Group Discussion/ Extempore, Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview.

Step 6: Final Selection and Offer Letter : The final decision depends upon the weighted average of overall performance. Those candidates who succeed receive official admission letters through email. To confirm the seat, the candidates are required to pay the admission fee or the first instalment of the tuition fee.
