IIT Palakkad Admission 2025
IIT Kerala offers a wide range of courses, such as BTech, MTech, MSc, MS and PhD in various disciplines such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. IIT Palakkad courses help students build a strong knowledge in the science and technology-related fields.
Admission for the BTech program at IIT Palakkad, students must have a minimum of 75% (65% for reserved category) in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and a valid JEE Advanced score. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam was held on 18 May 2025. For MTech and MS programs, students are required to have a bachelor’s degree along with a valid GATE score.
IIT Plakkad also offers an MSc program admission in three specialisations, which are Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, to those students who qualify Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM). IIT Palakkad Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
IIT Palakkad provides various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD courses with specific eligibility criteria for the academic year 2025-26.
For B.Tech admission, students must complete their class 12 with a minimum of 75% (65% for reserved category) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and a valid JEE Advanced score is required, followed by JoSAA counselling.
For M.Tech admission, students are required to have a B.Tech degree in the relevant field and a valid GATE score to apply through the COAP portal.
To get admission into the MSc program, students must have a bachelor’s degree and must qualify IIT JAM 2025.
For MS (Research) admission, students must have a B.Tech, B.E., or Master's degree and have a valid GATE score, and must clear a test and interview to get selected.
For PhD admission at IIT Plakkad, students must have a master's degree in an eligible discipline with a good academic record, along with a GATE and NET score, and pass a written test and interview.
