VIT University Eligibility Criteria 2026
For B.Tech programs, candidates must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology, securing at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST and certain regional categories). Admission is based on performance in the VITEEE entrance exam. For B.Arch, applicants must have studied Class 12th and scored a minimum of 60%, along with a valid NATA score. B.Des aspirants require 60% in 10+2 and are selected through VITDAT or UCEED, followed by an interview.
Courses like BBA, BCA, B.Sc, and B.Com are generally merit-based, requiring Class 12th with relevant subjects and minimum marks of 60%(For the first 2 years, at VIT BS is required 80%), depending on the program and category.
At the Postgraduate level, M.Tech and MCA applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks. Admission is through VITMEE or GATE.
MBA candidates need a bachelor’s degree with 60% marks and must qualify through exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT and ATMA or similar, followed by a personal interview and work experience.
M.Sc. and M.Des programs require a minimum of 60% in the qualifying degree, with selection based on merit for M.Sc., and admission is based on the VITMEE and CEED entrance exam scores.
