Maharashtra National Law University Aurangabad is an excellent national-level law university, which was established under the Act No. VI of 2014 by the Government of Maharashtra. The university is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grant Commission (UGC). The university began its academic career on March 16, 2017.
The MNLU Aurangabad offers a wide range of programs, including Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma courses in Law, Management, and Public Policy. It also provides Doctoral (PhD) and Post-Doctoral Research programs in Law for those who wish to pursue advanced research. There are more than 400 students and 11 programs.

MNLU Aurangabad Admission
The MNLU Aurangabad offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, PhD, and post-doctoral programs. Some of these courses include BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM, PhD in Law and Management, and others. Maharashtra National Law University Aurangabad Eligibility Criteria 2025
Maharashtra National Law University Aurangabad offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, Diploma, and Postdoctoral programs, each with distinct eligibility criteria for the 2025 session.
To be admitted to undergraduate courses, candidates must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST categories) and a valid CLAT score.
To apply for postgraduate PG programs such as LL.M., candidates must have completed their graduation from a recognised university and also hold a valid CLAT-PG score.
For admission to the PhD programs in Law and Management, applicants are required to have a master’s degree in the relevant field with at least 55% marks
Candidates who seek to enrol in the LL.D. program must hold a PhD in the concerned discipline and have a minimum of ten years of teaching experience.
Students who have passed Class 12 and are pursuing or have completed a graduation in any stream are eligible to apply for the Diploma courses.
For the Postgraduate Diploma programs, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Admission is based on merit and may also include an entrance test or interview conducted by the university.
