WBCAP Admissions 2025 Registration Starts: UG Admission in West Bengal Started, Check Details How to Apply

The West Bengal Common Admission Portal (WBCAP) 2025 has officially opened for undergraduate admissions, allowing eligible students to apply online at wbcap.in without paying any application fee. The registration window remains open until July 1, 2025, and students are encouraged to apply early to avoid any last-minute technical issues. 

WBCAP enables students to apply for 25 different UG courses across 460 government and private colleges affiliated with 17 public universities in West Bengal, all through a single application form. The portal also features a helpful search tool to guide students in exploring and selecting courses and colleges that suit their interests. 

However, certain institutions such as Presidency University, Jadavpur University, and those offering professional courses like engineering, medical, pharmacy, nursing, law, teacher training, music, dance, fine arts, as well as private, minority, and autonomous colleges are not included in WBCAP. This new system aims to streamline the admission process and make it more accessible for students across the state.

WBCAP Admissions Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates who has passed Higher Secondary or an equivalent exam from a recognized board can apply through the portal. However, some institutions may have their rules about which years of passing are accepted, so candidates should check those details before applying.
