The university has not confirmed any extension of the last date, so applicants are advised not to wait. The JMI 2026 entrance examinations are scheduled to start from April 26.

The university accepts qualifications from central and state universities, institutes of national importance, and foreign universities, if they are recognised as equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Step 7: Pay the application fee online.
Step 8: Submit and take a printout of the form for future use.

JMI 2026 Admissions: Application Fee Details
The candidates need to pay an application fee based on the course or faculty they choose while applying.
For the programmes offered by the Centre for Management Studies, AJK Mass Communication Research, Centre for Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics (except BArch), Faculty of Engineering & Technology (except BTech), Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Law, the application fee is INR 1000.
For all other faculties and centres, the application fee is INR 700.
Note: Candidates need to make sure that the application fee is non-refundable. Once submitted, the fee will not be returned to the candidates under any condition.
