The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will close the registration windows for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) on 31st March 2026. Candidates who are seeking admission in the B.Tech programmes offered at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and AP Campuses need to complete the registration process before the deadline. The VITEEE exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) which will be conducted in the designated centres across India and abroad between 28th April 2026 and 3rd May 2026 (tentatively). How to Complete Registration for the VITEEE 2026?
Candidates can complete the registration for the VITEEE entrance exam in online mode through the official website of VIT. As the last date for registration is 31st March, and to avoid any inconvenience as well as last-minute mistakes, candidates can follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Check the official portal https://viteee.vit.ac.in/.
Step 2: Find the Registration link for the VITEEE.
Step 3: New users need to complete the registration process with the required information.
Step 4: Once registration is completed, students will receive an application number on their personal email ID.
Step 5: Now, log in to the portal with the university email and password received.
Step 6: After this, fill out the application forms with all the relevant information.
Step 7: Preview the VITEEE 2026 application forms and submit.
VITEEE Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form for the VITEEE exam 2026. If any candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria, they might not be able to appear for this entrance exam. To appear for the VITEEE entrance exa candidates should be residents, Non-Resident, Indian National, OCI, PIO Holder.
NRI Candidates can apply directly through the NRI application forms.
Candidates who Date of Birth is on or after 1st July 2004 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2026. Also, the DOB must be mentioned on the High School / SSC / X Certificate, which will be considered.
Applicants must have completed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate marks of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
VITEEE Exam 2026 Registration Fees
Candidates must note that they are required to pay the VIT Exam application fee, which is INR 1,350 (Non-Refundable) for the categories. Candidates can pay the application fee via NetBanking, credit card, debit card and UPI. NRI students are required to pay 90 USD through online mode using a credit card.
