The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started the application process for its MBA programme for the 2026–28 academic session. Students who want to pursue an MBA from JNU can now apply online through the official admission portal. The last date to submit the application form is March 31, 2026, so interested candidates should complete the process before the deadline. 

The MBA programme is offered by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME), which is the business school of JNU. This programme is designed to provide students with management knowledge along with the practical skills required in the corporate world. 

To apply for the MBA course, candidates must have appeared in the CAT 2025 (Common Admission Test). The CAT score plays a very important role in the selection process, as it carries around 70% marks in admission. This means that a good CAT score is essential for getting shortlisted. 

After the final shortlisting based on the CAT scores, all the selected candidates have to appear for the further rounds such as group discussion, which carries(10% weightage) and personal interview (20% weightage).  However, the CAT examination was conducted by IIM Kozhikode on November 30, 2025. 

The application process is completely online. Students have to visit the official website for the JNU admission by registering themselves as a candidate and filling out their personal and academic details. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date and should apply as soon as possible to avoid any technical issues. Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the official admission portal of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

Step 2: Register for the application form

Create a new account using  email ID and mobile number. 

Step 3: Log in to the Account

Use the application number and password to log in to the portal.

Step 4: Fill the Application Form

Enter all required details such as personal information, academic qualifications, and contact details carefully.

Step 5: Enter CAT 2025 Details

Provide Common Admission Test (CAT 2025) score and related details, as it is important for selection.
