The National PG College Lucknow has started the admission process for the PhD program for the academic cycle 2025-2026. Students who are seeking admission in subjects like Commerce, English Literature, Education and Geography, etc can directly apply on the College’s website. Students can fill out the application form in both online and offline mode. The admission will be solely based on UGC and Lucknow University norms. The university also conducts an entrance test for admission that contains MCQ and descriptive questions. The entrance exam will have three papers of 12 credits.

Step 2: Click on the “ Admission” tab or tab on the “ Apply Now” button, which is given at the below of the pop-up information page.
Step 3: The PhD section will open, and read the information.
Step 4: scroll down to tick the box and tab on: Proceed to Apply Online”.
Step 5: The application form will be open, fill it accordingly and after filling all the details, sign the declaration and click on” Save”.
Step 6: After filling the application form and providing scanned documents, pay the application form fee, using the accepted payment method.

National PG College PhD Admission: Eligibility Criteria
Must have completed a postgraduate degree (Master’s) in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
Candidates who are in the final year of their postgraduate studies and expect to complete the degree before the admission deadline may also apply, provided they submit their final results by the required date.
Admissions will be strictly based on the fulfilment of eligibility norms and performance in the entrance exam as per UGC and Lucknow University guidelines.
