In a major step towards improving governance and administration in Bihar, the state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIM Bodh Gaya to train 121 young professionals under the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Scheme. The MoU was signed through the Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission under Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit.
IIM Bodh Gaya Director Dr Vinita S. Sahay called the MoU a significant step, saying it gives Bihar’s youth a chance to contribute directly to the state’s development. She said the fellowship would help young professionals apply their skills in public policy, e-governance, and public service delivery.
Under this scheme, 121 fellows will be selected and placed in different government departments, district offices, divisional offices, and even the Chief Minister’s Office. These fellows will work closely with officials to support planning, public service delivery, and implementation of state-level programmes.
