Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, has officially released the revised dates for the BITSAT absentee slot booking. As per the official information prior, the absentee slot booking for session 1 was supposed to begin from the 16th of April 2026 at 11 AM. Then it was extended to 4 PM, and then further postponed to 8 PM. But, according to the latest updates, the absentee slot booking will now begin from today, the 17th of April 2026, from 11 AM onwards.
The candidates can access the activated link by visiting the official website of BITSAT, admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. The link for absentee slot booking is live until the 17th of April 2026 till 4 PM. This is the last chance for the students who have genuine reasons due to which they have missed their examination to register through the absentee slot booking before the deadline to appear in the examination.
Steps to Register for the BITSAT Absentee Slot
It is highly recommended for students who have missed their examination due to a valid reason not to panic, as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, has given the last chance for them to register through the absentee slot booking. The steps to register for the BITSAT Absentee Slot are as follows:
Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official admission portal of the institute, admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.
Step 2: Select the BITSAT absentee slot booking option for Session 1.
Step 3: Students are supposed to log in using their login credentials.
Step 4: Once the candidates have logged in successfully, they can easily book the examination slot.
It is important to note that for the students who are registering through the absentee slot booking window, the examination will be conducted on the 19th of April 2026 at some selected centres across India.
