Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, also known as BITS, Pilani, was established in 1964 by G. D. Birla. BITS Pilani Admission
BITS Pilani offers a number of UG & PG programs in different fields, including Engineering, Management, Computer Science, Pharmacy, and Humanities. Admission forms are released in January-April for different courses. The BITSAT exam is conducted in May and June. Once, the scores of BITSAT are released, selected students are allowed to take admission in the month of July-August.
*For the current academic year, BITSAT 2025 will be held between 26-30 May, 2025 (Session-1) and 22-26 June, 2025 (Session-2).
Candidates who want to take admission in UG programs must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and 60% in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics individually. Furthermore, for getting enrolled in higher degree programs, applicants must have completed a UG or First-degree courses from a recognised institute. The approximate fee for UG and PG courses is 2.5 Lakhs/Semester.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani Eligibility Criteria 2025
BITS Pilani offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma and Certificate programs with specific eligibility criteria for the 2025 academic session.
For UG or first-degree courses, students must complete their 10+2 in Science stream with a minimum of 75% marks from a recognised board.
For UG or Higher degree programs, students must have a bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects with at least 60% marks.
Diploma programs require a bachelor’s degree with 60% marks and one or two years of experience.
PG Certificate programs require a bachelor’s degree having 55-60% marks.
Score-card of entrance exams such as BITSAT, BITS BAAT, and Higher Degree (HD) Test conducted by BITS Pilani.
Ph.D courses require a Master's degree in relevant subjects with a minimum of 60% marks for Science subjects and 55% marks for Social Science subjects.
