AISSEE 2026: Sainik School Admission Open For Class 6 and 9 Students, Check Complete Details Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened up the registration window for admission to Sainik School for willing students. According to the NTA official website, the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2026 (AISSEE) is going to be conducted in January 2026.

The academic year 2026-2027 of AISSEE 2026 is going to cover admissions to the 6th and 9th standards of Sainik Schools. Candidates can apply for AISSEE 2026  through the ‘Apply Online’ tab on their official website. 

AISSEE 2026 Registration Fees

The registration forms are out for students who want to get admission to Sainik Schools. The AISSEE 2026 entrance exam application process has now begun for 6th and 9th standards across Sainik Schools. Interested students can fill out the registration forms available on the AISSEE official website by 30th October, 2025, and can correct the form details by 2nd November to 4th November.

This year, the fees for the application form have been raised in comparison to the previous year's fee. The application fee for general category students is INR 850, whereas SC and ST candidates will have to pay INR 700. 

AISSEE 2026 Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

The age criteria for students willing to take admission to the 6th and 9th classes in Sainik School are also fixed. Students taking admission for class 6th, the age must be between 10-12 years by 31st March 2026, similarly, Students taking admission in 9th standard must be aged between 13-15 years by 31st March 2026.

AISSEE 2026 Step Guide for Application Form

Step 1: Visit the official website of AISSEE: https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ and look for filling application notice.

Step 2: Register online using your email ID and mobile number.

Step 3: Fill out the application form and attach required documents such as, photo, signature, DOB, caste certificate etc.

Step 4: Pay the fee using a Debit/Credit card/Net banking/UPI, and keep a proof of transaction for future reference.
