The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20 Exam 2025 is going to take place on 30 November 2025. The Bar Council of India (BCI) is in charge of the scheduled test and has issued all the necessary instructions for the examination. Applicants need to be aware that almost all items, even notes, are not allowed in the examination room, but Bare Acts may be. Bare Acts means the official legislative texts that contain the exact wording of a law as passed by the legislature, presented without any added explanations, interpretations, or judicial commentary. Candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall only if they have their admit card and a valid photo identification with them. They will be refused entry if they do not have these. AIBE 20 Exam 2025: Exam Reporting and Entry Rules

The designated students are required to follow the following rules:

  • Candidates are required to arrive at the examination centre by 11:30 am. Late entry will not be allowed past 1:15 pm

  • Bare Acts are the only permissible material besides identification and admit cards. 

  • Mobile phones, digital or smart watches, calculators, bags, books, notes, and any electronic devices are strictly forbidden inside the exam venue. 

  • Candidates must use only blue or black ballpoint pens; the use of pencils will lead to disqualification.

AIBE 20 Exam 2025: Special Provisions for Disabled Candidates

The AIBE 20 Exam 2025 candidates with disabilities above 40% will receive an additional 20 minutes to complete the examination. Those requiring scribes must make their own arrangements in line with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment guidelines effective from September 1, 2025.

AIBE 20 Exam 2025: Passing Criteria

General​‍​‌‍​‍‌ and OBC candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 45 percent of marks while SC, ST and disabled candidates are allowed to have 40% only in order to successfully pass the AIBE 20. Aspirants must go through the rules and regulations given by the board to be totally sure of meeting the standards of the ​‍​‌‍​‍‌examination.
