Who conducts the AIBE XX exam?

The Bar Council of India (BCI) conducts the AIBE exam annually.

The purpose is to certify law graduates to practice law in India by awarding the Certificate of Practice (CoP).

The eligibility criteria are a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a BCI-recognized institution.

Candidates can submit their applications form online through the official website between September 29 and October 28, 2025.

The exam is offline, pen and paper mode, with 100 multiple-choice questions with a total time duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The passing mark of General/OBC candidates is 45% marks, while SC/ST candidates require 40% marks.
