Step-by-Step Guide to Apply
The Gujarat Board has designed a detailed registration process for students that aims at enrolling for the 2026 SSC and HSC examinations.
The main steps are as follows:
Step 1: Students are supposed to go to the official website www.gsebeservice.com.

Step 2: Click on the Online Student Exam Registration 10th (SSC) and 12th (HSC Science and HSC General).

Step 3: Log in using the index number and the password to get access to the registration dashboard.

Step 4: Students must provide basic information about themselves, such as name, date of birth, category, subjects, and stream.
Step 5: For each student, a passport-size photograph, signature, and supporting documents, like the Aadhaar card or birth certificate, need to be uploaded carefully.
Step 6: All candidates are required to pay the prescribed examination fee as per board guidelines.
Step 7: Once the submission is done, it is mandatory for students to get the confirmation receipts printed as evidence of registration.
GSEB has also suggested that students finish the registration by the deadline to avoid last-minute technical problems or portal overloads. The tentative academic schedule shows that the 2026 board examinations of SSC and HSC students will start on 26 February- 16 March 2026.
