The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) on 25th January 2026 across the 120+ cities in India in a single shift from 9am to 12pm. Candidates who are going to appear for the CMAT exam need to carry the admit card, which was released on 21st January 2026 to the examination centre on the day of examination and also need to read all the instructions mentioned in the admit card. Candidates can download the admit cards for the CMAT Entrance exam from the official website of NTA and also can read the important instructions, which are mandatory to be followed on the day of the exam, from below.

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted for admission to the Management courses in the government universities in India. Candidates who are going to appear for the CMAT Entrance exam can check the CMAT Exam Date from the table given below.

Documents to Carry for CMAT Entrance Exam 2026 

Candidates must carry all the important documents required for the CMAT Entrance Exam, as without the documents, entry to the examination centre will not be permitted. The list of the documents which are required for the CMAT Entrance Exam Day is as follows: 

  • CMAT Entrance Exam Admit Card in A4 Size Sheet

  • Passport-size photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet

Apart from this, candidates must have one of the following photo ID proofs on exam day

  • School Identity Card

  • PAN card

  • Passport

  • Aadhaar Card (With photograph)

  • E-Aadhaar with photograph

  • Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph

  • Bank Passbook with Photograph

CMAT Entrance Exam 2026 Dress Code 

On the day of examination, candidates must keep in mind to follow the dress code and wear formal or semi-formal clothes for the entry to the examination centre. Candidates can check the clothes to avoid on the day of exam from below

  • Hoodies with large pockets

  • Metal accessories like jewellery, rings, bracelets and more

  • Hats, Caps and Sunglasses

  • Candidates must wear open footwears like sandals and avoid boots

  • Brightly coloured clothes and graphic shirts or T-shirts

CMAT Exam 2026 Important Instructions 

Candidates should keep in mind to follow all the instructions released by the NTA for the CMAT Entrance Exam. Students can check all the instructions from below. 

  • Candidates must report to the examination centre 2 hours before the starting of the exam. 

  • It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card along with them to the exam hall, as without this and valid Photo ID candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall in any circumstances.

  • Candidates must be seated according to the roll number

Candidates must not take carry instruments, Geometry or Pencil box, handbags, purses, any kind of Paper, Stationery, Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables and Water (loose or packed), mobile phones, earphones, microphones, pagers, calculators, DocuPens, Slide Rules, Log Tables, cameras, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/devices inside the Examination Hall.
