Karnataka NEET PG 2025: KEA Extends Round 3 Option Till February 10

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline for option entry in Karnataka NEET PG counselling  2025 Round 3 until February 10, 2026. This means eligible medical graduates who want a postgraduate (PG) seat in Karnataka can now log in and choose their preferred colleges and courses till the last date. Candidates can apply for the karnataka neet pg counselling 2025 through the official website of KEA.

This extension has been given after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released the final seat allotment results for All India Quota (AIQ) Round 3 of NEET PG counselling. Earlier, KEA had postponed the counselling start, which was expected to begin earlier, to February 5, 2026. But now, official notification confirms that the option entry has started and will remain open up to 10 February by 5 Pm.

However, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, has announced AIQ  round 3 PG medical final result allotment results by February 6. The option entry has initiated on February 7 and closes by February 8 at 8 am, which was stated in the official notice from the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) .

Important Dates to Remember

  • Option Entry Last Date: 10 February 2026 (up to 5 PM) — candidates should fill their choices by this date.

  • Provisional Seat Allotment: 10 February at 5:00 pm — a preliminary list of who gets which seat will be released.

  • Final Seat Allotment Result: 11 February 2026 (after 1 pm) — the confirmed list will be published on the KEA website.

  • Fee Payment & Admission Letter Download: 12–13 February 2026 — candidates allotted seats must pay fees and download the admission letter on these two days.

  • College Reporting Deadline: 14 February 2026 (till 5:30 pm) — students have to report to the allotted college with the required documents by the given date and time.
