The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has published a list of 7,448 exam centres for the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams in 2026. Candidates going to take the 2026 board exams may check the list and raise any objections or corrections till December 4, 2025. A review of all the protest pieces will be done by December 11, following which the final list of centres will be made available on the official website.
The number of exam centres has been reduced to 7,448 this year from 7,657 last year. To put it side by side, there were 8,265 exam centres in the 2023-24 session. The District school inspector will look into all the objections, resolve the issues, and send the corrected list to the District Centre Determination Committee for approval. The board will then publish the final list online.
Provisional List Released by Board
The provisional list comprises 7,448 examination centres all over the districts of Uttar Pradesh. According to the UPMSP notification, the test centres for 2026 were chosen from the government, aided and unaided schools. The board compiled this list by considering criteria such as the physical condition of the school, the availability of CCTV, sufficient seating for students, and the distance standards announced earlier. District-wise PDF lists have been uploaded to the official website, where schools can check their allotted centres against the preferences they submitted.

Raise Objections till 4 December
UPMSP has allowed a very short and strict window just once for schools to file their objections to the provisional exam-centre list. All grievances should be sent only through the official online portal. Schools may communicate such problems as bad facilities at the centre allotted, the centre being too far for students, or seating capacity and other issues.
After the filing of objections, district committees and school inspectors will review each case and give their recommendations. The board has mentioned very clearly that no objections will be accepted after December 4, 2025. The final list of exam centres will be made available on December 11, 2025.
