The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the detailed notification for NEET UG 2026 on its website. The NEET UG 2026 application form date is already released, which was February 8, 2026. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam can find the registration link on the official website neet.nta.nic.in, where the online form submission is underway and will continue till March 8, 9 PM, as the last date.
NEET UG is the one and only national-level entrance test in India that is used for the selection and shortlisting of candidates for these medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS etc. at the undergraduate level, as well as the health-related baccalaureate programs.
Major Application and Important Dates
The candidates are required to make sure that the payment of fees through Credit/Debit Card, Net-Banking, or UPI is done by 8 March 2026 till 11:50 pm. After the application window, there will be a correction period to make changes in the application form particulars from 10 March 2026 to 12 March 2026.

Steps to NEET UG 2026 Application Process
The Neet UG application 2026 is already started. Eligible candidates are invited to fill out the NEET UG 2026 application form by following the process:
Step 2 - Click on the NEET UG 2026 registration link under the Candidate Activity.
Step 3 - Click on the new registration button to register yourself.
Step 4 - Read the instructions carefully and check mark the box to proceed.
Step 5 - Register on web portal by providing your basic details.
Step 6 - After registration login the portal and fill the application form and pay the registration application fee.
NEET UG 2026 Exam Date
According to the latest notice, the NEET (UG), 2026 exam will be held on 3 May 2026. The total duration of the test will be 180 minutes (3 hours), starting from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exact examination centre will be mentioned in the Admit Card; however, other important dates such as the announcement of city intimation, download of Admit Cards, release of recorded responses/answer keys, and declaration of results will be published later on the official websites: nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in
