NEET 2025 Exam: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and it is scheduled to be conducted on 04 May 2025. The exam will be held in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the paper-pen-based mode. The National Test Agency (NTA) started the registration process for NEET 2025 on 07 February 2025, and the last date to submit the application form was set as 07 March 2025. NEET 2025 Exam Date is 04 May 2025, and the aspirants must register online at neet.nta.nic.in. The exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode (offline), with a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. 

The application form fees are INR 1,700 for General/NRIINR 1,600 for General-EWS/OBC, and INR 1,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The applicants can pay the requisite application form fee online through various payment methods such as Debit/Credit/UPI/Net Banking.

NEET entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India for admission to undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, BAMS, BDS, etc. To be eligible, candidates must be at least 17 years old and have completed or be appearing for their Class 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the NEET 2025 Exam:

  • Must be at least 17 years old.

  • Must have secured minimum aggregate marks like 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwD candidates.

  • Nationality: Indians, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals.

  • No restrictions on the number of attempts.

The NEET 2025 application form is currently available online. Candidates can apply through the official website at neet.nta.nic.in from 7 February 2025 to 7 March 2025 (until 11:50 PM). Once the application window closes, a correction window will be available from 9 March 2025 to 11 March 2025. During this correction period, candidates can make necessary changes they may have mistakenly made.

Candidates need to register, fill out the form with personal and academic details, upload required documents, pay the application fee online (INR 1,700 for General, INR 1,600 for EWS/OBC, INR 1,000 for SC/ST/PwD), and submit the form to apply for NEET Exam 2025 finally. After successful registration, candidates should print the confirmation page for future reference. Besides, the NEET 2025 admit card will be released on 1 May 2025, and the exam is set to happen on 4 May 2025.

The NEET 2025 result is expected to be released on 14 June 2025* by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students who appear for the NEET UG exam can check their results on the official website @neet.nta.nic.in. To view the result, candidates need to enter their application number, date of birth, and security pin.

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET @neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on the link that says "NEET Result 2025."

Step 3: Enter your application number, date of birth, and the security pin shown on the screen.

Step 4: After entering your details, click the "Submit" button to proceed.

Step 5: Your NEET 2025 result will appear on the screen. It will show your subject-wise scores, total marks, percentile, and All India Rank.

Step 6: After checking your result, download the scorecard and take a printout for future reference.

The Neet 2025 Exam will be conducted in offline mode with a total duration of 180 minutes, i.e. 3 hours. The exam pattern includes 180 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology(Botany and Zoology).

Previously, the NEET Exam had 200 questions where candidates had to attempt 180, with internal choices in Section B. However, in the NEET Exam 2025, the total number of questions is 180, and candidates are given no optional choices.

According to the Marking scheme for NEET 2025, candidates are awarded +4 marks for each correct answer and deducted -1 for each incorrect answer. Meanwhile, unattempted questions receive no marks. Therefore, candidates should always think twice before marking their answers as negative marking will be applied for wrong answers.
