The NEET application process was started on 08 Feb 2026 to conduct the entrance exam for the 2026-27 academic session. The NEET application last date was 11 March 2026 and applicants can submit the form online via official website. The NEET registration fees range from INR 1,700 to INR 1,000 based on different categories. Moreover, candidates who mistakenly filled in the wrong details on application form can correct their information through a correction window. The NEET application form correction window is currently open from 12 March to 14 March 2026. Admit card for the 2026-27 session has not been released yet and will be announced on the official website.

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to complete the NEET application form 2026:

Step 1: Go to the official NEET website (neet.nta.nic.in).

Step 2: Tap on the New Registration option, enter the required details and generate login credentials.

Step 3: Upload needed documents such as photographs, signatures, etc.

Step 4: Make the payment via online payment modes (debit/credit card/net banking/UPI/Paytm).

Step 5: Review all the filled data and submit the application form.

Step 6: Print or save the confirmation page for further use.

Documents Required for NEET Application Form

The documents mentioned below are mandatory to apply for the NEET 2026 Exam:

• Photographs

• Signatures and Thumb Impressions

• 10th and 12th Marksheets

• Category Certificate (if applicable)

• Differently-abled Certificate (if applicable)

• ID Proof (e.g., Aadhar Card, Passport, PAN Card, etc.) 

• Citizenship Certificate (Applicable for NRI/OCI/Foreign candidates) 

The NEET application form correction window is going to open on 12 March 2026 at 12:00 noon and will close on 14 March 2026 at 11:50 PM, allowing candidates to edit and rectify certain details in their application forms to ensure accuracy. This facility is provided by the NTA to help applicants correct any errors before final submission.

Here is the list of fields that can be edited using the correction window:

• Personal information including the Candidate’s name, Parent’s name, and Date of birth.

• Category (it may affect the application fee)

• Gender 

• Disability status

• Examination city preferences

However, candidates can not change fields such as registered Email ID & Contact No., Nationality, Signatures, and Photograph.
