The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially begun registration for its 64th campus placement programme. This drive is for the April–May 2026 session batch. This campus placement will offer newly qualified chartered accountants a major opportunity to secure employment with top companies across the country. The initiative, conducted by ICAI’s placement directorate, is one of the largest recruitment drives for fresh CAs in India.
As per the official information, the placement cycle at major centres is scheduled to start from April 6, 2026. Interviews at locations like Mumbai and Delhi will be conducted between April 6 and April 10.
The campus placement programme is designed and is carried out by the universities for candidates who have recently passed their CA Final examinations with flying colours. The placement drive guides the students in a structured and transparent manner and provides them a platform where leading organisations from sectors such as finance, consulting, banking, and industry participate for the recruitment of fresh talent.

The placement cycle for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will be conducted in various locations across India. The interviews will be conducted between April 6th, 2026 to April 17th, 2026.

Apart from the above-mentioned centres, the institute will also be conducting the placement drive in cities like Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur, along with several other smaller cities. This is done to ensure that all the deserving candidates receive equal and valid opportunities.
Orientation and Preparation
ICAI is introducing a standardised orientation programme for all the registered candidates across major centres. This is done to make sure that all the candidates are guided and prepared well for the interview through a set of recruitment processes, including interview techniques, corporate expectations, and professional conduct.
There are several recruiters and industry leaders who have already registered themselves for the placement drive to recruit the candidates in the best possible way. As per the information, the expected participating sectors include IT services, banking, manufacturing, and consulting.
The campus placement drive is conducted thrice a year by ICAI to help the qualified Chartered Accountants with top industrial placements. As per the previous cycle, the institute has a record of over 10,200 job offers. The highest domestic packages received were INR 32.33 LPA.
The institute also carries out the CA Career Catalyst Program 2026. It was conducted in a virtual mode from the 15th of March 2026 to the 22nd of March 2026. The program guided the candidates in areas including taxation, finance, audit, consulting, and forensic accounting. The candidates are also offered the opportunity of group discussion, mock interviews and personal mentoring.
