The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the NEET PG counselling schedule 2025 choice-filling process until further notice. The updated notice is available on the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee. The Committee will intimate the choice filling deadline and seat allotment schedule in due course later. Earlier the date was set for January 29, 2026.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) and NBEMS have approved additional PG/DNB seats for the academic year 2025, after the 3rd round of PG Counselling 2025 was initiated. Taking this into account, the competent authority has decided to extend the All India PG Counselling period till the time the candidates are informed of the further availability of seats. These additional seats will be accounted for in the seat matrix for round 3, thus allowing candidates to give their preferences for the newly added seats. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for later updates.

Earlier, according to the schedule, the seat allotment process was scheduled to end on January 28, 2026, and the round 3 NEET PG counselling results were supposed to be announced on January 29, 2025. These events have now been rescheduled, and the new dates will be announced shortly. If, after the NEET PG counselling 2026 round 3, there are still some vacant seats, then a stray vacancy round is projected.
