NEET SS 2025: Registration Window Open for Super Specialty Course, Key Dates and Details Inside

The NEET SS 2025 application process began on the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. Candidates who have been shortlisted and are intending to apply for DM, MCh and DrNB super specialty courses in India can apply online now. The application form for NEET SS 2025 commenced on 05 November 2025 at 3:00 PM and will be closed on 25 November 2025 at 11:55 PM. The NEET SS 2025 examination will be conducted in two shifts over two days. This is the only national-level exam that candidates must pass to gain admission to super specialty medical courses for the academic year 2025-2026.

NEET-SS 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Who can Apply?

A candidate must meet the following requirements to apply for the NEET SS exam 2025:

• Candidates must have a recognized PG medical degree like MD/MS/DNB or an equivalent qualification.

• Applicants expecting to receive their qualifying degree by 31 January 2026, can also apply.

• Candidates found ineligible at any stage of the exam or admission process will be disqualified, and their results will be canceled if detected later.

• Candidates whose qualifying degrees or results are finalized after 31 January 2026, will not be allowed to appear for NEET SS 2025.

• Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council is mandatory; proof must be shown at the exam center.

• OCI cardholders and foreign nationals are eligible to participate without NMC registration, subject to acquiring temporary registration for the course duration. 

• Candidates already enrolled or admitted in any DM/MCh/DrNB course through a previous NEET SS are not eligible for admission through NEET SS 2025 for the entire duration of the course they are pursuing, regardless of resignation or discontinuation.

• Candidates with FCPS qualifications from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai are not eligible for NEET SS based solely on that qualification.

• Issuance of an admit card is provisional and does not guarantee admission to any super specialty courses. Admission depends on eligibility verification and counseling procedures.

How to Apply for NEET SS 2025 Exam?

Step 1: Go to the official website of NEET SS at https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=neetss 

Step 2: Now tap on the 2025 option and choose the application link button.

Step 3: Read all the important instructions carefully before proceeding. Click on the “Register” button and enter your basic details like name, date of birth, email, mobile number, and nationality.

Step 4: Submit the registration form and note down the User ID and Password sent to your email and phone.

Step 5: Log in using these credentials to access the application form.

Step 6: Fill in the detailed form with your personal and academic information.

Step 7: As directed, prepare to upload your most recent passport size photo, signature, and left thumbprint impression.

Step 8: Select your exam city and pay the application fees of INR 3,500 using the online payment method scheduled.

Step 9: Review all information, submit the form, and print out a confirmation page for your records.

NEET SS Exam 2025: Important Guidelines and Corrections

• Candidates can make corrections to most personal details except name, nationality, mobile number, email ID, and test city during the edit window from 28 to 30 November 2025.

• Corrections related to the uploaded images can only be made during the selective edit window from 12 to 14 December 2025. No further corrections will be allowed after these windows close.

• Only one application per candidate is permitted. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation of all except the one with the highest application ID.

• Candidates providing false information or fake documents will be disqualified and barred from future NBEMS exams.
