NEET PG Counselling 2025: The NEET PG 2025 Counselling has started from 17 October 2025 across India for postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, and PG Diploma. During the NEET 2025 PG counselling process, candidates can register themselves for the round 1 process, while the counselling process contains three counselling rounds with one stray vacancy round. During these sessions, they can select their seats and lock them by submitting a non-refundable application fee and a security deposit(refundable). Once all applications are reviewed by the authorities and only eligible candidates will be called for the document verification round.
After the completion of round 1, candidates who are willing to upgrade their seats in round 2 can directly apply without registering online, while those who have not been allotted seats in round need to apply freshly in round 2 of the NEET PG 2025 counselling. The same process will be followed in further rounds.
After completion of every round, MCC will release the provisional results, which will give opportunities to students to reach out to them directly and if no discrepancy is found, the final results of the allotted seats will be out accordingly.
Unlike the counselling for undergraduates, the NEET PG counselling has been conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while state authorities deal with counselling for seats offered by different government and private medical colleges under state quota, reaching the aspirants seeking admission. Each such university has its own specific admission requirements, seat allotment procedures, and counselling schedules based on NEET PG scores.
Only those candidates scoring equal to or above the cut-off marks specified by the MCC or concerned state authorities shall be eligible for registration for counselling and the processes of choice filling, document verification, and seat allotment.
