The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has announced the initiation of the registration process for its MBA program 2026-28 batch and is inviting applications from those who wish to take admission in the two-year management program. The online registrations are open now as the university invites eligible candidates, who have appeared for national-level management entrance tests, to send in their applications latest by the deadline.
According to the university, the MBA program will have 75 seats in total for the 2026-28 batch. The last date for submitting applications is 31st January 2026, and the list of shortlisted candidates for the next stages of Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be published separately.
Eligibility For the Admission in UoH MBA 2026
To get admission in the MBA program in University of Hyderabad, candidates should have appeared in CAT 2025, MAT 2025, or CMAT 2026, along with holding a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.
According to the latest student placement brochure of MBA batch issued by the University of Hyderabad, the gender distribution shows a slight majority of female students at 54.16 percent, while males constitute 45.84 percent of the group.

Diverse Academic Background and Elective Preferences of the MBA Batch
The academic backgrounds of graduates in the batch illustrate a variety of different fields. Commerce graduates make up the largest segment at 30.5 percent, followed by science backgrounds at 20.8 percent and engineering at 16.7 percent. Candidates from the arts field occupy 11.2 percent, and the previous management studies holders constitute 6.9 percent. Other academic areas add 13.9 percent to the group, according to the brochure.
Placement figures also highlight the students' preference for electives in the program. Finance is the biggest draw with 39 students, followed by Marketing with 35 students and Business Analytics with 33 students. Human Resources is chosen by 19 students, whereas 14 students are attracted to Operations, indicating different likes for various functional areas.
