NEET PG 2025: The NEET PG 2025 entrance exam registration procedure began on 17 April 2025, and the last date for applying was 7 May 2025. The online registration for NEET PG 2025 started on 17 April 2025 and was closed on 7 May 2025. Interested candidates could apply online by visiting nbe.edu.in, submitting the required documents, and paying the application fee. The NEET PG 2025 application form fee is INR 3,500 for general candidates and INR 2,500 for SC/ST/PwD/Physically Handicapped candidates. 

The NEET PG is a computer-based national-level entrance examination organised under the aegis of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for inclusion in the MD, MS, or PG Diploma courses. Candidates must hold an MBBS degree and a valid MCI/NMC registration, but not engage in the internship after 15 August 2025, to be eligible to apply and appear for this exam.

The exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions, each of which must be attempted in 3.5 hours. The admit card was released on 31 July 2025, and the candidates should carry it to the exam centre along with a valid identification.

NEET PG 2025 Application Form

The NEET PG 2025 Exams were accepting applications online through the official NBEMS website from 17th April 2025. The applications were accepted for the NEET PG 2025 Exams till 7th May 2025. Interested candidates can apply within the provided dates. Important documents are required to be uploaded, which include personal and academic details, and pay the application fees through the provided online methods (INR 3,500 for General/OBC/EWS and INR 2,500 for SC/ST/PwD). 

The correction window for NEET PG 2025 was opened from 20 June to 22 June 2025 to allow any necessary corrections by applicants. The Admit card for the exam will be issued on 31 July 2025, and the exam will be held on 3 August 2025.

Here’s the step-by-step guide on how to apply for the NEET PG Exam 2025:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NBEMS.

Step 2: Go to the Examination tab and click on NEET-PG.

Step 3: Now, tap on ‘New Registration’ and register using a valid Email ID and mobile number.

Step 4: Fill in the required details as needed.

Step 5: Read the Captcha and click on the ‘Submit button’ to generate your ID and password.

Step 6: Access the application portal using updated login credentials.

Step 7: Complete the application form by paying the fee online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.

Step 8: Once done, download and print the confirmation page for reference.

The Admit Card for NEET PG 2025 is a compulsory document to be carried by the candidate for the entrance examination, which works as an entry pass to the exam centre. Initially, the NEET PG cutoff for 2024 was decided to be the 50th percentile for the general category, 45th percentile for the general-PwBD category, and 40th percentile for the rest of the reserved categories. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) subsequently reduced and revised these qualifying percentiles to the 15th percentile for General and EWS categories and the 10th percentile for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories.

The revised cut-off of NEET PG 2024 was:

  • General & EWS: 15th percentile - Later reduced to 5th percentile

  • SC/ST/OBC/PwD: 10th percentile - Later reduced to 5th percentile
