NIT Rourkela to handle CSAB 2025 admissions for engineering and technical institutes. For the 2025-26 academic year, NIT Rourkela will oversee CSAB 2025, which helps Indian students secure seats in engineering and technical institutes. This includes NITs, IIITs, SPAs, IIEST, and other government-funded institutes across India.
NIT Rourkela will lead the NIT+ System, and IIT Kanpur will oversee the IIT System. Together, they will run JoSAA 2025, kicking off in early June. Students can visit https://josaa.nic.in/ and https://csab.nic.in for updates. JoSAA 2025 will have six rounds of seat allocation. As always, CSAB will step in after JoSAA to organize three CSAB-Special rounds for unfilled seats. It will also arrange a Supernumerary Round to help students from Union Territories get admission to select NITs.
Over 14.5 lakh candidates who cleared JEE Main will compete for around 40,000 seats across various institutes. 20% of these seats are reserved for female candidates. The entire admission process, including registration, choice selection, seat allotment, and document verification, will happen online.
