The Maharashtra State Common Test (CET) cell will close the registration windows for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-MHT CET) entrance exam without late fees today, i.e., 24th February 2026. Candidates who are willing to take admission in UG courses offered in the top-notch education institutions across the state are required to appear for the MHT CET entrance exam. Earlier, the last date for the registration was 20th Feb 2026, and the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell extended the deadline, giving more time to the candidates to complete the registration. Candidates who have not completed the registration process for the MAH-MHT-CET entrance exam yet must be sure to fill out the application today itself to avoid the last fees of INR 500. MHT CET 2026 Important Dates 

The Maharashtra State Common Test (CET) cell will conduct the MAH-MHT-CET entrance exam in two sessions, which are the April session and the May session. Candidates who are willing to appear for this entrance exam can apply for the April session and pay the application fee accordingly. How to Complete the Registration Process for MHT CET 2026?

Before completing the registration process for the MAH MHT CET entrance exam, candidates need to generate the APAAR ID through DigiLocker, as without this ID the applications of the candidates may remain incomplete. Step 1: Access the official website, which is https://cetcell.mahacet.org/. 

Step 2: Now click on the link of the CET (Examination) portal for A.Y. 2026-27. 

Step 3: If any candidates have already registered, they can log in using the registered email ID and password. 

Step 4: New users need to click on register. 

Step 5: Enter all the details like email, password, full name, and date of birth. 

Step 6: Select the preferred exam city and pay the fee via net banking and other modes of payment.
