VIT Counselling 2026: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has started the Phase IV round of counselling for VITEEE 2026. Those students who have secured ranks between 70,001 and 1,00,000 in the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination are eligible to take part in this phase of the counselling session and select their programme as well as their college of choice.
The choice filling process is currently available on the official website of VIT Counselling. It is advised that the eligible aspirants go through the list of programmes and colleges and lock their choices accordingly. As per the schedule provided by the institute, the choice filling window will stay open until 5:00 PM on 8 June 2026.
After the completion of the choice filling process, the VIT will process the submitted choices made by the eligible students and allot seats to them based on their ranks, category and availability of seats. The result of Phase IV seat allotment will be announced on 10 June 2026. All the candidates will be able to check their results on the official website of VIT.
Students who are allotted seats must complete the other required admission formalities within the given timeline to confirm their seats.

VITEEE 2026 Phase IV: Expected Branches and Campuses Available for Choice Filling
According to experts, several branches and seat categories are expected to be available in VITEEE 2026 Phase IV counselling across different VIT campuses.
At the VIT-AP Campus, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) seats may be available in Categories 3 and 4. CSE specialisation courses are likely to be open in Categories 2 to 5. Electronics and Communication Engineering ECE seats may also be available in Categories 1 to 5, giving students more options.
At the VIT Chennai Campus, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering seats are expected to be available mainly in Categories 4 and 5. These seats may be suitable for candidates with lower ranks or preferences.
At the VIT Bhopal Campus, many seats across different branches are likely to remain vacant, offering more chances for students in this counselling round.
