IIT Delhi 2026: Open House for B.Tech in Design Programme on 26 October, Apply through Google Forms

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will host an online Open House to sensitise candidates about its newly launched BTech in Design programme on 26 October at 6 PM. The objective of the event is to guide the students who are interested in joining the course, which offers only 20 seats in its intake. Students can secure admissions for B.Tech in Design by clearing both securing an adequate rank in JEE Advanced and qualifying the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED).

IIT announced the online informational event through its X Handle. It said, “Department of Design, IIT Delhi, to organise an online Open House on 26th October 2025 for students aspiring to join its newly launched BTech in Design programme in 2026.” The interested candidates can fill in the following Google form: https://tinyurl.com/3swzjsvw.

IIT Delhi: B.Tech in Design

The program started in 2025 and it is a four-year programme. It has been designed for students who have imaginative and broad-minded thinking. It emphasises simplifying complicated societal-technological structures and designing efficient solutions. The curriculum combines current technologies, design thinking, release methodology, communication and presentation skills. It results in collaboration with emphasis on pragmatic and technology-oriented results. Students pursuing the BTech in Design should achieve 155 credits to qualify as IIT graduates.
