Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has opened admissions for the 2026-27 academic year offering 30 new courses with no increase in fees. The university is introducing new programs that follow the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 bringing more options for students in today’s fast-changing job market.

More Flexibility with NEP 2020
Following NEP 2020, JMI is introducing the Multiple Entry Mode (FYUP) for four-year undergraduate programs. This change gives students more flexibility making it easier to switch between courses and giving them better chances to advance in their studies.
New Exam Centres for Easy Access
JMI is making the application process more accessible by opening new entrance exam centres in Jaipur, Dehradun, and Kishanganj, now totaling 11 centres across India.This will help students from different regions reduce travel time and make it more convenient to take the entrance exams.
Fee Reductions for International Students
JMI is also cutting fees for international students. A new region-specific fee structure has been introduced for students from SAARC, West Asia, Africa, and Latin America, making education more affordable for students from around the world.
