IGNOU Registration 2026: Application Forms Deadline Extended for B.Ed, B.Sc Nursing and PGDRPC Entrance Exam

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for registration for the B.Ed and B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) programmes for the January 2026 session and the Postgraduate Diploma in Rural and Plantation Management (PGDRPC) entrance exam for the July 2026 session. Candidates who have not submitted the application forms due to some technical issues can complete and submit their application forms before the last date of 10th March 2026. Candidates can fill out the application forms from the official website of IGNOU. The entrance exams for all these three programmes are scheduled for 29th March 2026. IGNOU Registration 2026 Important Dates

Candidates who are willing to take admission in the B.Ed, B.Sc, and PGDRPC offered at IGNOU can check the important dates for the admissions and entrance exam dates from the table below. 

On 27th February 2026 IGNOU’s Student Evaluation Division (Exam-II) announced the revised schedule for admission in the B.Ed., B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) and PGDPRC programmes. This extension has provided the extra time to pay the application fee and gather all the required documents for the application forms. Candidates are also advised to check as well as visit the official website of IGNOU for more updates to avoid any kind of last-minute mistake in the application forms.

IGNOU B.Ed, B.Sc Nursing and PGDRPC Eligibility Criteria 

Before filling out the application forms for the entrance exam for the B.Ed., B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) and PGDPRC programmes at IGNOU candidates must ensure that they are completing the eligibility criteria for the particular programme. The eligibility criteria are provided below. 

• Educational Qualifications: 10+2 with a three years Diploma or degree in the related discipline completed from a well-recognised and accredited educational institution. 

• Minimum aggregate marks: Candidates need to secure a minimum of 50% of marks (45% for the reserved categories) for admission to these programmes.

• Work Experience: Candidates are also required to have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience.
