National Testing Agency (NTA) is now allowing JEE Main 2026 Session - 02 registered candidates to make changes to their application forms via a new correction window on the NTA website. The correction facility will be available for 2 days only, from 27th to 28th February 2026, giving candidates an opportunity to make corrections to their applications. Candidates had been requesting a chance to make corrections due to the number of mistakes made in their application forms recently, and NTA has now provided this opportunity for candidates. It is important for candidates to review their application forms thoroughly before submitting them to avoid making mistakes that will require corrections after the deadline.

How to Make Corrections
Step 1- Candidates need to access the JEE Mains 2026 official site and click on the "Registered Candidates" link.
Step 2- They have to log on using your application number and date of birth.
Step 3- They will see a link to the Correction Window which they need to click on.
Step 4- Students should edit any required fields carefully and then submit the corrections.
Step 5- They will also be required to pay a correction fee if applicable.
Step 6- Once they have completed the process, please save the updated confirmation page for any future use.
Why the Correction Window is Important?
Candidates have an opportunity to correct their application forms through a correction facility before the final submission date of 2/28/2026. Any mistake made on the application form may create issues during the following processes: Admit Card issue, assigning of centres, releasing results and counselling.
To relieve students of stress and ensure fairness throughout the examination process, the NTA has provided students with this opportunity to correct their mistakes through the opening of a one-time correction facility.
Important notes regarding corrections
All corrections must be made prior to February 28, 2026, and no extensions will be granted.
Be sure to thoroughly review all changes made prior to the concluding submission of your application form.
Retain a copy of your revised application form.
If candidates are modifying any category or academic detail, be sure to have uploaded the appropriate supporting documents.
