The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the form correction window for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam today on February 27, 2026. All the candidates can make changes to their application form until February 28, 2026, 11:50 PM.
Students who want to make corrections should visit the official website and log in using their application details. Once they have logged in successfully, they must review all the information entered in the form carefully. It is important for students to check every detail properly, as any minor mistake in personal, academic or exam centre information may impact their eligibility or the allotment of their exam centre.
Candidates can edit most details in the application form. However, some of the details cannot be changed, such as phone number, email ID, permanent and present address, emergency contact details and photograph.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2:Steps to Edit Application
Candidates who want to make changes in their application form can follow these simple steps given below:
Step 1: Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the âForm Correctionâ link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Log in using your JEE Main 2026 application number and password.
Step 4: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and read the instructions carefully.
Step 5: After logging in, open the sections of the application form that you are allowed to edit.
Step 6: Make the required changes.
Step 7: Review all the details properly, as there will be no further correction chances provided.
Step 8: Submit the application form and keep a copy for future reference.
Step 9: Pay the correction fee, if applicable.
Whatâs After Correcting the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Application
Once candidates finish the form correction process, they will not get another chance to make changes in the submitted application form.
The city intimation slip for session 2 of JEE Main 2026 will be released by NTA in the first week of April 2026. Through this slip, candidates can check the name of the city alloted for their exam centre.
After that the admit card will be released 3 to 4 days before the exam. The admit card will include details such as the exam centre name & address, exam date, shift and important guidelines to follow.
