CUET UG 2026: Application Deadline Extended to February 4; Here's How to Apply

The National Testing Agency has officially announced to extend the last date of CUET UG registration 2026, giving candidates some more time to finish the application process. This came as a result of several representations made by candidates to extend the deadline.

According to the new notice, the online application process for CUET 2026 UG registration will continue until 11:50 pm on February 4, 2026. Candidates interested in applying must visit the official CUET UG website, as no applications will be accepted after the deadline.

Steps to apply for CUET UG 2026 online

CUET UG 2026 registration last date is now 4th of February, 2026. Below are the steps on how candidates can apply or register.
 

Step 1: Interested candidates first need to visit the official CUET UG website at https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ and click on the registration link for CUET UG 2026.

Step 2: Start with the initial registration process by filling in the basic details to receive login credentials which can be used to access the application form later.

Step 3: Log in to the application form and enter the necessary personal, academic and contact details. Choose the desired subjects, courses and colleges to appear in CUET UG 2026.

Step 4: Upload the scanned copies of the required documents in the specified format. Verify all entered details and make any necessary corrections before final submission.

Step 5: Pay the application fee via the available online payment methods. After payment, submit the form and save or print the confirmation page for future use.

CUET UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates applying for CUET UG 2026 must meet a certain eligibility criteria specified by the National Testing Agency and the participating universities. Applicants should have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 (10+2) examination or its equivalent from a recognised board. Students must ensure that they meet the subject-wise and course-specific eligibility conditions laid down by individual universities and programmes.
