The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has increased its deadline for the application for the Single Girl Child Scholarship. According to the CBSE's recent release, the deadline for applications has been extended till 20th November 2025, providing more time and opportunity for more students to apply. Single girl children's parents can take advantage of this scholarship by applying through the official website of CBSE.
Along with the 2025 single girl child scheme, the renewal portal for the single girl child 2024 has also been opened for corrections, with the deadline till 20th November 2025. Note that the deadline may not be extended further. Therefore, Interested students are advised to apply at its earliest to avoid inconveniences and not miss the opportunity.
CBSE 2025 Scholarship: Single Girl Child Scheme Eligibility Criteria
Under the 2025 CBSE scheme, the scholarships will be provided to those girl students who are the only children of their parents, and have passed 10th standard in 2025 with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks.
The girl students who are enrolled in 11th or 12th standard after completing 10th, will only be considered eligible for this scholarship.
According to CBSE guidelines, to be eligible, the family income of the girl student should not be more than INR 8 lakhs per annum.
The fee criteria for the single girl child scholarship 2025 have been fixed by the CBSE. The student’s tuition fee for class 10th should not exceed INR 2,500 per month, and for 11th should not exceed INR 3,000 per month.

Step 1: Visit the CBSE website and look for ‘Single Girl Child Scholarship X-2025 REG’
Step 2: Select the tab for the renewal (old scheme) or new application ( new scheme) and click on the particular tab for registration.
Step 3: Fill out the application form and submit the application form.
Step 4: After filling out the application form, click on the submit button to proceed.
