The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET UG 2026 application form on 3 January 2026. Step 1: Registration Form:
Go to the official CUET UG portal cuet.nta.nic.in.
Click on “New Registration/Register Here.”
Provide all the personal details: name, date of birth, email, mobile number, etc.
Create a username/application ID and password.
After registration, you will receive a verification link or OTP (via email / SMS).
Verify your email/mobile number by entering the OTP or clicking the link.
After the verification, log in with the generated credentials to start the application process.
Step 2: Application Form:
Now log in to the application form and provide all the details in the field.
Select the exam city preferences/exam centres (1st, 2nd, 3rd choices) as applicable.
Choose the subjects/test papers/domain/language combinations you want to appear in.
Upload required documents/images:
Passport-size photograph (check size, format, background, etc.)
Signature (check dimensions, format)
Other documents (ID proof, category certificate, etc.), if asked.
Review all the entries carefully — and if there are any changes required, edit them correctly before final submission.
Step 3: Fee Payment:
After completing the application form, click on “Proceed to Payment.”
Select the fee payment mode, either credit card/debit card / net banking / UPI (as available).
Enter the payment details and pay the required application fee as per category (General / OBC / SC / ST / PWD) and the number of test papers.
Once payment is successful, you will get payment confirmation information. Note down the transaction ID/reference number.
Step 4: Confirmation Page:
After successful payment, a confirmation page will be generated.

The National Testing Agency has issued an important update on the scribe facility for PwD/PwBD candidates appearing in CUET UG 2026. The CUET UG 2026 Application fee varies by candidates' categories. For example, the application fee for general category candidates is INR 1000 for up to 3 subjects. After that, each additional subject charges INR 400. For OBC-NCL/EWS candidates, the application charges are INR 900 for up to 3 subjects; after that, each additional subject costs INR 375. Document Required for CUET UG 2026 Application
Before starting to fill out the CUET UG application form, candidates should be ready with some essential documents that will be required. Also, keep in mind to maintain the proper size and format of documents. Here are the detailed illustrations of documents needed during the CUET UG 2026 application process.
Photograph: The candidate needs to upload their recent photograph in JPG/JPEG format; no other format is accepted. The recent passport-size photo should be either in colour or black and white, showing at least 80% face visible, including ears, against a white background. The size of the scanned passport-size photo should be between 10 kb - 200 kb. Keep in mind the photograph should be named as ‘ _Photo' and in JPG/JPEG format.
Signature: The candidate is required to upload their scanned copy of signature while filling out the application form. The scanned signature image should be in JPG/JPEG format, like a photograph. Scanned signature should be named as '<first two characters of candidate name>_Signature' in size between 10 kb to 50 kb.
PwD/PwBD Certificate: If applicable, the candidate needs to upload their scanned copy of PwD/PwBD/UDID certificate. The scanned copy of PwD/PwBD/UDID certificate saved with a preferred name as '<first two characters of candidate name>_PwDCertificate' and in PDF format between size of 50 kb to 300 kb.
