The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has made an essential announcement for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 candidates in Lucknow. In an unexpected move, the Consortium has decided to relocate the test centre common to a number of candidates just a few days before the CLAT exam, which is going to be held at the national level on December 7, 2026. These changes have been reflected in the newly issued admit cards.
The candidates who were first allotted to Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Government Girls PG College, Sector 11, Rajajipuram, as per the official notice dated November 28, 2025, will now have to take their examinations at a different centre. A new examination centre has been fixed as: Lucknow Public College, A-Block, Rajajipuram, Lucknow - 226017
The Consortium stated the test center change was made to facilitate a more orderly and smoother handling of the examination. All the candidates who have been affected by this change are required to fetch the updated CLAT 2026 hall ticket from the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. They can do this by using their registered mobile number and password.
Steps to Download Revised CLAT 2026 Admit Card
Candidates can access their updated CLAT 2026 hall ticket by following the steps:
Step 1: Visit the official CLAT portal.
Step 2: Log in using registered credentials.

Step 3: Click on the “Download Admit Card” button.
Step 4: Save a soft copy and take a printout for exam day.
The Consortium has clarified that the previous admit cards will not be considered valid for entry at the new venue. The students need to have the updated admit card with them together with a valid ID issued by the government, like Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID or passport. Without these papers, entry to the examination hall will be strictly denied.
If the candidates have incorrect information or if they have a problem in accessing the updated hall ticket, they can get in touch with the helpdesk by emailing their grievances to [email protected] or calling 080-47162020 (Monday to Saturday) between 10 AM and 5 PM.
